All candidates for Design Technician positions must have at least 5 years experience in preparing construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D or must have a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering. Design Technicians are responsible for drafting and reproducing construction plans on time and within budget. This position is supervised directly by our Project Managers.
Project Manager candidates are typically licensed Professional Engineers with supervisory experience. Extensive roadway, utility, stormwater, site development or planning experience is expected of all candidates for this position. Our Project Manager's are also expected to play a major role in the marketing of CAPTEC's services and experience.
Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager candidates are typically Engineering Interns preparing to become Professional Engineers and new Professional Engineers. This position requires extensive client coordination and some marketing. Assistant Project Managers always have a Project Manager assigned to their projects to help guide and mentor.
Administrative Assistant to the Project Manager and Design Technicians, providing clerical & permitting coordination services. This position requires extensive coordination efforts with clients and permitting agencies. Unlike many administrative assistant positions, our Project Coordinators gain extensive technical knowledge during their tenure at CAPTEC.
