- Wastewater septic tank and drainfield disposal system replacement within Martin County Utilities primary service area
- Studied 11 areas remaining from the 2001 study and 13 additional areas in Martin County
- Ranked 24 neighborhoods to determine best option to facilitate replacement (ie., utilizing gravity sewers, grinder pump services or vacuum sewer systems)
- Goal was to prioritize based on physical and environmental factors to determine the feasibility of incorporating replacement into the 10-year Capital Improvements Plan
- Grants/ State Appropriations for Septic Tank Elimination were obtained
- Septic tank replacement is currently underway for 3 local communities listed in the study (2nd Qtr 2020)
- Town of Sewall’s Point is pursing grant funding to for a Septic to Sewer project that evaluates options to remove approximately 1,000 septic tanks to benefit the Indian River Lagoon
City of Stuart IQ Main
Stuart, FL
- System of Irrigation Quality (IQ) re-use water mains from the City of Stuart Wastewater Treatment plant
- Construction included over 32,000 L.F. of 12-30” Large Pipe and over 6,700 L.F. of horizontal directional drilling under urban City/ Corridor streets, FEC Railroad and U.S.1
Martin County Fiber Optic
Martin County, FL
- Designed over 10-miles of Fiber Optic Outside Plant (OSP) Infrastructure which crossed City and County roadway
- Direct bury / Directional drilling of two 2” HDPE Conduits for all backbone segments and one 2” HDPE Conduits for lateral segments feeding individual sites
- Underground fiber and facilities for Fiber Core
Florida City Gas
Palm Beach County, FL
- Utility Engineering design, permitting and construction support services for a major natural gas pipeline across the State of Florida
- Additional engineering design for alignment changes and add on segments
Tropical Farms Watermain/Forcemain
Martin County, FL
- Designed conversion of 7,500 LF of 12” force main to 16” and 24” IQ Main
- Tie-ins to lift station and Tropical Farms newly constructed 24” force main at WWTP
- Directional drilling under FL Turnpike, I-95 and the South Fork of the St. Lucie River
- Grant application submittal to SFWMD for Alternative Water Source funding
